About Us
The Helping Hand of Warren County is a powerful community effort focused on the distribution of free food, clothing, personal care products, and household/baby items to our neighbors with integrity and compassion. Over the last 7 years our food and clothing pantry has significantly reached more people than ever before.

Who We Are
The Helping Hand of Warren County is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non profit organization. We partner with UnitedWay of Central Iowa, Food Bank of Iowa, Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC), Hunger Free Warren County - under the Warren County Cares Coalition. We are active members of the Central Iowa Food Pantry Network, Food Insecurity Work Group, and Rolling Hills Coalition. We are surrounded by a caring and comprehensive community full of support from local churches, city and county officials, schools, social services organizations, law enforcement, local businesses, grocery and retail stores and surrounding Warren County residents to provide essential needs for those in our surrounding rural communities.

Executive Director
As a long-time resident of Warren County, Rachel understands the impact the Helping Hand has in our community and is dedicated to maintaining its strong presence for Warren county residence. Rachel has a heart of service and loves what she does to serve her community.
Pam Riedmann
Assistant Director
Pam supports the Director in managing daily operations to ensure effective service delivery for local families in need. As a dedicated member of the community, Pam is passionate about strengthening resources and building connections that enhance the impact of Helping Hand’s mission.
